Sample policy of Wanmi Hardware

Sample policy is important in the first cooperation between us. As a manufacturing company, we need to understand the customer’s needs and pain very well and offer the fast prototypes as possible.

Q1: ETD(Estimated Time of Delivery) of the prototyping

A1: for most materials in stock, we can deliver any sample within 7~10 days. However, for the parts requiring customized material, we have to check the availability of steel with the material supplier. The ETD under this condition is usually around 15~20 days, sometimes even 30 days.

Q2: Sample Cost and refund policy

A2: Usually for compression springs, we charge 80usd for sample production. For extension springs and torsion springs, it needs to review the drawing to calculate the sample cost. For CNC parts and stamping parts, it needs to consider tooling costs. Thus, it requires reviewing the drawings first.

We highly appreciate it if you can send the drawing first. It can help us learn your demand better and provide the best solution for your products.

Shipping cost is not included in the sample charge. Please tell us the shipping address and we will calculate the shipping cost.

A2.1: Refund policy

We offer a half refund for orders that meet our MOQ. It doesn’t include the shipping cost. If the prototype requires tooling, the tooling cost usually can’t be refunded. But we can discuss a partial refund solution gradually, depending on the progress of the sales amount between us. For example,

for 1000usd tooling, we can refund 200usd in the first order, then 200usd in the second order, and so forth…

Q3: Quality control under sample policy

A3: As we said earlier, we appreciate it if you can send the drawings when inquire. The drawing is the best language for a quality statement. For the inner quality control procedure, we follow China GB standard level 2 requirements.

Q4: About Specific tolerance requirements under our sample policy

A4: Some parts, or specific sizes on a part, require a strict tolerance level. We appreciated you can tell us in advance when you don’t send a drawing.

Q5: Surface treatment method choice

A5: if you don’t know which coating method it is. Please send us a picture of the product and tell us the requirement of working conditions, such as temperature, environment, humidity, assembly of the structures, etc. The more you tell the better solution we can advise.
